Hospital Overhaul, Bug Fixes, and Prison Plans

Hey everyone,

So… the hospital wasn’t quite as “done” as I thought. 😅 I went back in for a full overhaul, and it’s paid off big time. Here's what I’ve been up to lately:

Hospital Revamp:

The hospital received a full puzzle redesign to improve pacing and tension. A new sequence in the a few rooms now plays a key role in progression, and other rooms have been updated with a more engaging puzzle setups. There’s also a new encounters that will adds some serious pressure and atmosphere to the game.

I’ve added new points of interest throughout the hospital lootable rooms, journals, and fragments of dialogue that build on the lore. There are now references to Vincent’s operations, whispers about Ark’s presence on the island, and stronger narrative ties to Ada’s search for the G-Virus sample.

Bug Fixes:

I tackled a handful of critical issues in the hospital basement, including one where enemy grabs could completely block progression. The NPC system from the demo also got some polish states now transition properly, enemies stay down when they should, and overall reliability has improved across the board. One persistent crash is finally gone too, making gameplay much more stable.

Next Up: Prison

With the hospital finally in a good place, I’m doing a last pass on the library and moving into the prison section. I’ve already got ideas brewing for lore drops and environmental storytelling to keep the tension high. I’m excited to get started.

Momentum’s been good lately, and the vision is coming together piece by piece. Thanks for following along and stay tuned for what’s next.
