Devlog June 5th 2025 - Radio Silence

Hey all, it’s been four months since my last update. Work’s still chewing up 50-60 hours a week, and starting a new business has me running on empty. I’m squeezing in dev time late at night or when ever I have a surge of motivation. Been making progress on the game, though, so here’s what I’ve got.

  • Hospital and Library Done: Hospital’s finished—puzzles, cameras, all set. Library’s done too, with its hidden office and eerie feel. Both are in a good spot now.


  • Prison : This will be the next area I will crack down on when I have release this version (sooner than later now)


  • Thinking Up New Areas: Been tossing around ideas for a few new locations to make the island bigger. Nothing solid yet, just early thoughts.


  • Story’s About Ada: The story’s shaping up around Ada hunting a G-Virus sample on the island. Working on new journals, note's and clues, Alot different the the stuff from my one week game jam.


  • NPCs in the Mix: Working in NPCs from that prototype I posted (mph64.itch.io/resident-evil-npc-demo). They tag along, maybe help with puzzles or fights. I will have to still polish them up a bit more but for now they will show up in basic form!

  • Enemies and Cleanup: Added a couple new enemies and tweaked the old ones, like dogs and Mr. X. AI’s less wonky now. Along with some different things that have been seen in RE2 I've been figuring out how to implement

Work and the new business has definitely kept me busy, but I wanted to just post here and let all of you have followed or given Sheena Island a try a big thanks
