Unity64
A downloadable project
Your games. Your room. Your friends.
Unity64 brings N64 emulation into a cozy 3D room. Browse your game shelf, turn on the console, and play on the TV. Want a closer view? Switch to fullscreen without stopping the game.
Bring friends along
Host a multiplayer session and invite friends to join as players 2, 3, and 4 in supported games. Your PC runs the game and streams the picture and audio while your friends send their controller inputs back.
Guests do not need to load a local ROM.
Make the screen yours
Show the full picture or crop it to the top half, bottom half, or an individual corner. Each player can choose their own view, whether playing on the room TV or in fullscreen.
Keep your progress
Unity64 supports automatic cartridge saves, Player 1 Memory Pak saves, and one quick-save-state slot per game. The host controls saving and loading during multiplayer.
Player 1 can also select Rumble Pak mode. Memory Pak and Rumble Pak are separate modes; stop the game before switching.
Built for a controller
Walk around, browse games, and use the room menus with your controller.
- Both stick clicks: open or close options.
- D-pad or left stick: move through menus.
- A: select. B: go back.
- Start/Menu while walking: open multiplayer.
- View/Back + right-stick click: switch between TV and fullscreen.
- View/Back + Start: leave the console.
Getting started
- Download and extract the Windows build.
- Add your ROM folder to the game library.
- Choose a game from the shelf, then interact with the console.
- To play with friends, open Multiplayer and host or join a room.
Before you download
Windows download. Bring your own ROMs. No games included.
Unity64 is in development and does not run in a browser. Game compatibility and online play are still being tested. Direct internet connections may not work on every network.
Windows XInput controllers are supported. Guest rumble is not currently included.
Save states require the same ROM, emulator core, and CPU/Pak settings used when saving.
Code credits
Built using ParaLLEl N64 and Libretro, based on the work of the Mupen64Plus and original Mupen64 developers, with Angrylion graphics emulation and CXD4 RSP emulation.
Engine and networking use Unity, Unity WebRTC, and the work of the WebRTC project contributors.
Thank you to the developers and open-source contributors behind these projects.
